Maria joined Balsera Communications in 2023, where she plays a pivotal role in coordinating strategic alliances between key clients and elected officials. Her responsibilities include spearheading media relations efforts and developing and executing social media campaigns to amplify the visibility of high-impact projects and initiatives for clients including the ClimateReady Tech Hub, The Children’s Trust and CareerSource South Florida.

Beyond her professional journey. Maria is deeply committed to social causes. Her dedication is evidenced by her volunteer work and diverse internships with organizations focused on environmental sustainability, community welfare, and financial ethics.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida (USF) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communication and Journalism from Universidad del Norte, Colombia, where she graduated top of her class.

She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Her bilingual proficiency enhances her ability to connect with diverse audiences and effectively communicated complex ideas.
