As the CEO of Balsera Communications, Mr. Balsera assists corporations and organizations craft communications campaigns promoting their issues, projects, products, or services. From the moment he launched his firm in 1999, Mr. Balsera has been able to generate results for Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies, national political organizations, labor unions and financial institutions as their communications strategist. Today, Balsera Communications is regarded nationally as a first tier public affairs firm.

Throughout his career, Mr. Balsera has developed a unique proficiency in communicating complex political and public policy messages to the public. In 2008, Mr. Balsera helped craft President Barack Obama's national Hispanic television and radio campaign. In this capacity, he co-wrote and produced all of the Spanish media messages broadcast by the Obama campaign in the entire country. Mr. Balsera’s work helped deliver an estimated sixty-six percent of the national Hispanic vote for President Obama. He was also a surrogate spokesperson for the campaign in 2008 and 2012, handling over 300 interviews on the campaign’s behalf each time. Additionally, Mr. Balsera served on the Obama National Finance Committee for during both elections and was appointed as a Presidential Elector in Florida in 2008. He later served on the Obama-Biden transition team as an advisor to the agency review team for the Federal Communications Commission.

Mr. Balsera’s activities as part of the 2016 Presidential election include serving as a board member of Correct the Record, the SuperPAC working in coordination with the Hillary Clinton campaign. He is also a surrogate speaker for the campaign.

In 2013 Mr. Balsera was nominated by President Obama to serve on the US Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy, which oversees all public diplomacy activities for our country abroad.

In 2011 PODER Magazine named him one of the 100 most important people in Miami and in 2010 he was named to the Miami Dade College Alumni Hall of Fame. In 2009, Mr. Balsera was profiled by Politics Magazine as one of the ten most influential Democrats in Florida.

Mr. Balsera maintains strong relationships with print and electronic media reporters throughout the country and has developed the credibility and reputation that allows him insight into how news is reported. Currently he contributes as a political analyst with Telemundo Network. He also serves as Board Member for the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund.
